Mr. Adam Sheriff serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in which capacity he provides strategic management of the accounting and finance functions as well as directs policies, procedures, and internal controls. Mr. Sheriff has over 25 years of experience in the Accounting and Financial sector and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc Honors) from AME Zion University, a Master of Business Administration in Finance (MBA) from the Cuttington University Graduate School, and a Master of Science in Accounting from Drexel University, Pennsylvania, USA. He is a lifetime inductee of the Golden Keys International Honor Society and Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Organization.
Prior to joining the LEC, Mr. Sheriff served in various capacities in multiple organizations in Liberia and the United States of America including serving as Senior Auditor with the Ernst & Young LLP (Big Four Audit Firm), and Senior III SEC and Technical Reporting at the American Water Works in New Jersey, USA. In Liberia, Mr. Sheriff served as Chief Financial Officer of Srimex Oil & Gas and as Quality Assurance Audit Consultant, under a World Bank project, and later as Director of Audit Services with the General Auditing Commission.
Mr. Sheriff continues to strive for professional improvement and has obtained the following professional licenses and certifications:

- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
- Graduate School USA Certificate – Information Systems Auditing
- AICPA Certificate – Fundamentals of Forensic Accounting
