Mrs. Jestina Dennis Fofana has a career that spans over 15 years. She is an accomplished Human Resource and Admin Executive experienced in supervising multiple departments. Mrs. Fofana currently serves as Executive Director for Human Resources at the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC), primarily responsible to coordinate and monitor the timely and efficient execution of all human resource activities within LEC; to formulating and facilitating the implementation of appropriate strategies and plans focused on hiring, developing, motivating and retaining the best talent within the Corporation; and to provide overall organizational leadership for human resource-related functions within the Corporation.

Prior to ascending to this post, she served in various capacities within the Utility, including Counterpart Executive Director for HR, Assistant Managing Director for HR, Acting Deputy Managing Director for Administration, HR Manager, and Assistant HR Manager respectively.

Before joining LEC, Mrs. Fofana served as Head of Human Capital Management at Global Bank Liberia Limited, where she was responsible for managing and supervising all HR-related activities.

Mrs. Fofana holds a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) in Management. She has obtained professional certificates in HR and Supervisory training, including the Certified Strategic Human Resource Professional (SHRP), from the International Institute for Executive Training, administered in Accra, Ghana, HR Boot Camp Certificate, from Management Concepts, Washington DC, USA, Coaching and Supervisory Skills, Skill Path Seminars, Bloomington, MN, USA, and several other trainings from Liberia, Nigeria, the Gambia, and Ivory Coast. She is also a Certified Speaker, Trainer, and Coach with the John Maxwell Team (JMT), a group of Maxwell certified Coaches, Trainers, Speakers and Professionals recognized worldwide.
