Engr. Doveflee E. Kollie is a Senior Manager for Generation assigned at the Bushrod Thermal Power Plant. In this role, Engr. Kollie is accountable and responsible for the overall strategic planning, safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and fiscal sustainability, of the power plant and to ensure that the plant meets requirements defined by Law. Prior to assuming the role of Sr. Manager, he served the utility as Supervision Engineer on the Pipeline and Tank Construction Project and Operations Engineer.
Engr. Kollie obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree, B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the William V. S. Tubman University located in Harper City, Maryland County, and is currently a candidate pursuing a Master in Public Administration at the Cuttington Graduate School of Professional studies.
He has participated in several training programs including the JICA Power Plant Construction Project (10mw), the GOL 18mw Power Plant Construction Project, the World Bank 10mw Power Plant Construction Project, and Monitoring and Evaluation. Engr. Kollie also participated in the Hydro training at the Mount Coffee Hydro Power Plant, where he acquired skills in Hydropower Basics and Mount Coffee overview, Turbine Basics and Design, Balance of Plant Electrical, and Generator Basics and Design, Excitation, Protection, and Digital Governor.
