POWER OUTAGE ANNOUNCEMENT
Monrovia, Liberia – April 8, 2025
The Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) regrets to inform the public that TRANSCO CLSG, operator of the CLSG Transmission Network, has requested an emergency shutdown of the transmission line to allow CIE teams to carry out urgent maintenance on their equipment.
This shutdown will take place on April 9 and 10, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.
As a result, electricity supply to parts of Monrovia and surrounding areas will be interrupted during this period.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate the public’s patience and understanding as this critical work is carried out.
