Qualifications
- The Liberia Electricity Corporation has set aside funds from its operations toward the cost of the Provision of Security Guard Services for Liberia Electricity Corporation Substations, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the above contract.
- Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) the implementing agency, now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Provision of Security Guard Services for Liberia Electricity Corporation Substations as described in the Scope of Service of the bidding document.
- Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the Public Procurement and Concession Act of 2010 (PPCA) and approved by the Public Procurement and Concession Commission (PPCC) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.
- Qualification Criteria
- The firm must have completed at least 2 similar contracts within the last 3 years of similar nature.
- Must provide Valid Security Clearance from the Ministry of Justice.
- Provide lists of key proposed personnel with relevant experience
- Provide evidence of cash flow not less than one hundred and fifty thousand United States dollars (USD150,000) turnover within the last three years.
- Bidder must present Audited Financials for the recent past 3 years.
- Bidder must have valid business registration and tax clearance certificates Copy of Article of Incorporation.
- Bidders must have insurance coverage for liabilities
- Bidder must provide Power of Attorney Authorizing signatory to the bid.

- A complete set of Bidding Documents in English can be obtained by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application letter to the address below.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10 a.m. Local time, on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration in the format specified in the bid document.
