- The Liberia Electricity Corporation has identified funds from its operational budget for the fiscal year 2024 and intends to apply funds to eligible payments under the contract for the Fumigation and Pest Control of Liberia Electricity Corporation Facilities Under a One Year Framework Agreement.
- The Liberia Electricity Corporation now invites a sealed quotation from eligible and qualified bidders for the Fumigation and Pest Control of Liberia Electricity Corporation Facilities Under a One Year Framework Agreement.
- A complete set of Bidding Documents in English can be obtained by interested bidders upon the submission of a written Application to the address below.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:00 am Local time, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Where necessary, sealed quotations will be opened in the presence of Supplier's Representatives who choose to attend at 10:00 AM GMT on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, in the Conference Room on the Ground Floor of the LEC Head Office Building, Waterside, Monrovia, Liberia.
- Qualification Criteria
The Bidder shall submit with its bid the following additional documents:
Current Business Registration Certificate.
Current Tax Clearance Certificate.
PPCC Vendor Registry Form (VRF).
Bidders must provide a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for all chemicals to be used.
- Contract Commencement/Start: Upon signing of contract/ Purchase Order and receipt of advance payment, if any.
- Contract Completion Period: Services are to be completed within three weeks upon receipt signed contract or written notification from the LEC.
8. Payment Terms: Payment will be made at the end of the quarterly fumigation service after an invoice and report for the fumigation work is filed with the Health and Safety department and approved by the Executive Director for Compliance & General Services.
- Marking and sealing of quotations: Quotations should be clearly marked with the Procurement Description and must indicate your acceptance of the terms and conditions. Quotations should be sealed in a single envelope, clearly marked with the Procurement Description mentioned above, the Bidder’s name, and the name of the Procuring Entity. Envelopes should be sealed in such a manner that opening and resealing cannot be achieved undetected.
- Validity of Quotations: The quotation validity required is 60 days.
- Currency: Quotations shall be priced in United States Dollars.
- Award of contract: The award of the contract shall be initiated by the issuance of a small contract agreement to the most responsive bidder.
- Right to Reject: The Procuring Entity reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation or to cancel the bidding process and reject all quotations at any time prior to the contract award.
